Interview with Etna, on the re-opening of Tulsi Brew events

Filed under: Guild News — admin @ 5:43 pm

We have sat down with Etna, leader of Anaman Pact, to ask her some questions regarding the coming “resurrection” of the old Tulsi Brew storytelling and gaming events. The guild is scheduled to begin them every double-moon very soon ((Fridays, at 6pm Pacific Standard Time.))

Zoya Tel’Raspa: So, what would you say this gathering is all about?
Etna Demonia: Well, I wanted to bring some events to the community again, this time on a more casual basis. Even the blackest of hearts love to kick back, you know. [She chuckles.] I’d really like something to be held regularly again, to help put Anaman Pact in the spotlight once more.

ZT: Any Aisling can attend the event, correct?
ED: Yes, yes. It’s entirely casual, free form. Some of the events, such as the Sumo League, will require the throw skill in order to participate. The blood battle requires you to be an Aisling of Talgonite, Mythril, Hy-Brasyl, or a Sgrios Worshiper, of course — you’ll need to be able to get the death mask. We are more than equipped to deal with any troublemakers, as well.

ZT: Will prizes be handed out?
ED: We have decided we will provide some prizes for some of the events, like the Blood Battle and the Sumo League. The prizes will vary depending on participation — we’ll give out bigger prizes should more people come. They’ll be provided by me for now. What they are will remain a mystery until the events themselves.

ZT: I can’t wait to see what the guild will be giving out. Can we expect any surprises along the way, with the events?
ED: Well, possibly… we’ll definitely be making some suggestions in our storytelling that not many people will understand. I think in order to understand everything that we are going to be putting on, you should be fluent in the history of the Tulsi Brew!

ZT: Let’s talk a little bit about the Sumo League. Could you explain this event a little more to our readers?
ED: The League is designed as a multiple-meeting tournament. Participants will accumulate points for sanctioned matches — two for winning, one for losing. At the end of our “season,” the participants with the most points will be awarded with prizes, as well as featured within our community flyer ((the guild website.))

ZT: And the Blood Battle? This sounds interesting as well. What will this entail?
ED: Well, we’re going to have a single-elmination tournament for all Aislings. The only requirement is that you have be able to wear a death mask and come to the Tulsi Brew. The top competitor at each meeting will be featured by Anaman Pact, and will also be awarded with a prize.

ZT: Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions. My last question — who should we contact if we have any further questions?
ED: You can contact me, Zoya, or Eirianwen for information regarding the event. I hope to see you there!

Zoya has achieved council.

Eirianwen has been promoted.

Thanks in large part go to Eirianwen, who has assisted the pact in securing the second piece of the tablet from the Shadows War. In reward for this act of devotion on behalf of Chadul, Anaman, and the Pact, we hereby award her efforts and dedication by appointing her as a Council Member.

Through herĀ  three Deochs of servitude to the Pact as well as her recent recovery of the fragment, she has more than proven that she is able to bear the burden of administration and leadership within the guild.

Simply put, congratulations.

The Broken Relic

Another excavation was held by Dyven this sun in Suomi to find the missing piece of the tablet that I obtained. With the assistance of Eirianwen, the Anaman Pact has once again come through and we are in posession of a full tablet.

The tablet, however, is missing a crucial part. In the center seems to be a socket able to fit a medium-sized gemstone of some sort. I have no idea what kind of item we will need to complete the artifact. I can only hope it lies somewhere within the borders of Suomi, close to areas in which we found the first and second pieces.

I have begun to decipher the scripts on the tablet — upon completing the stone, the words shifted into a somewhat legible version of the common tongue. It has a power that draws from the void, though what it draws I do not know.

We must do our best to figure out how to complete the tablet. Upon doing so, the pact will be empowered tenfold.

The Artifact

Filed under: Storyline Updates — admin @ 3:16 pm

We have uncovered an artifact as a result of the recent excavation in Suomi. I do not know what power lies within it, however, it is incomplete. There are more pieces that still need to be found and bound together.

I will inform you all when we get more information as to what we have here. It could be our ticket to awakening Chadul.

Another sealed parchment.

“Dearest Pact Members,

Since the mundane Eeva is busy trying to get a banker in Temuair, and has Aislings running tasks left and right, I have decided it is in your best interest to keep the artifact hidden until the masses pass from the town…

Continue to look, but do so only at night, when lamps in the town are few and far in between. Look in the earth, and find it under soil, where it has awaited you for many years.

Best of luck. I will continue to inform you when I have more time to spare.

The Missing Daemon

Filed under: Storyline Updates — admin @ 9:35 pm

The Anaman Pact banded together, strong and resolved, ready to face hordes of oncoming Aislings to defend the Daemon child to be born at the sacred hexagram in Astrid. We amassed a rather strong group, along with the help of some mercenaries — Qwyl and Seribus. Our group huddled at the site for nearly a sun in preparation and wait, telling tales in the old tongue, and planning our use of abilities well.

Redemption

Upon the beginning of the Redemption, however, the mundanes came out of nowhere, and the child was nowhere to be found. Puzzled and frustrated, we waited for almost half a sun more, when we finally retreated to the Tulsi Brew. Drinks abound, we ended the evening with getting severely inebriated and passing out on the tables inside.

It will require more research to determine the cause of this ill turn of events.

Save the spawn of Chadul!

Filed under: Storyline Updates — admin @ 11:55 pm

In a few suns time, another spawn of Chadul’s power will be born into the world. He shall appear in Astrid, in the time that coincides with what Danaanites call “Redemption.”

We must try everything in our power to bring the spawn of Chadul into safety before he is destroyed by the followers of the light. The supreme dubhaimid must be saved!

I await you all during that time. One can only hope we can be of some assistance and arrive on time.
