Interview with Etna, on the re-opening of Tulsi Brew events
We have sat down with Etna, leader of Anaman Pact, to ask her some questions regarding the coming “resurrection” of the old Tulsi Brew storytelling and gaming events. The guild is scheduled to begin them every double-moon very soon ((Fridays, at 6pm Pacific Standard Time.))
Zoya Tel’Raspa: So, what would you say this gathering is all about?
Etna Demonia: Well, I wanted to bring some events to the community again, this time on a more casual basis. Even the blackest of hearts love to kick back, you know. [She chuckles.] I’d really like something to be held regularly again, to help put Anaman Pact in the spotlight once more.
ZT: Any Aisling can attend the event, correct?
ED: Yes, yes. It’s entirely casual, free form. Some of the events, such as the Sumo League, will require the throw skill in order to participate. The blood battle requires you to be an Aisling of Talgonite, Mythril, Hy-Brasyl, or a Sgrios Worshiper, of course — you’ll need to be able to get the death mask. We are more than equipped to deal with any troublemakers, as well.
ZT: Will prizes be handed out?
ED: We have decided we will provide some prizes for some of the events, like the Blood Battle and the Sumo League. The prizes will vary depending on participation — we’ll give out bigger prizes should more people come. They’ll be provided by me for now. What they are will remain a mystery until the events themselves.
ZT: I can’t wait to see what the guild will be giving out. Can we expect any surprises along the way, with the events?
ED: Well, possibly… we’ll definitely be making some suggestions in our storytelling that not many people will understand. I think in order to understand everything that we are going to be putting on, you should be fluent in the history of the Tulsi Brew!
ZT: Let’s talk a little bit about the Sumo League. Could you explain this event a little more to our readers?
ED: The League is designed as a multiple-meeting tournament. Participants will accumulate points for sanctioned matches — two for winning, one for losing. At the end of our “season,” the participants with the most points will be awarded with prizes, as well as featured within our community flyer ((the guild website.))
ZT: And the Blood Battle? This sounds interesting as well. What will this entail?
ED: Well, we’re going to have a single-elmination tournament for all Aislings. The only requirement is that you have be able to wear a death mask and come to the Tulsi Brew. The top competitor at each meeting will be featured by Anaman Pact, and will also be awarded with a prize.
ZT: Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions. My last question — who should we contact if we have any further questions?
ED: You can contact me, Zoya, or Eirianwen for information regarding the event. I hope to see you there!
